Senior FinOps Engineer (Cloud Financial Operations) (m/f/d)

📋 Description

• Own cloud cost visibility end to end — maintaining and improving tagging, allocation, and showback
• Drive rate optimisation across the estate: commitment management, Reserved Instances, and Savings
• Build and maintain FinOps reporting, dashboards, and tooling that turn cloud billing data into
• Improve forecasting accuracy and support budgeting, working closely with finance partners to make
• Identify and drive workload optimisation and waste reduction, partnering with engineering teams to
• Define and track cloud efficiency KPIs, and embed cost-aware engineering into design and delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in a FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or closely related
• Solid understanding of public cloud architecture (preferable AWS) and how design decisions drive
• Hands-on experience with cloud cost management, including tagging governance, allocation, and
• Strong analytical skills — able to interpret complex usage and billing data, spot patterns and
• Experience with FinOps or BI tooling; scripting (e.g. Python) for reporting and automation is a
