Senior Firmware Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and implement embedded C/C++ firmware for collars on FreeRTOS with power/memory constraints.
• Work on LoRa mesh, cellular, BLE; protocols CoAP/OSCORE/protobuf for secure device-cloud comms.
• Design and tune hardware-near algorithms: signal processing, timing, synchronization, filtering.
• Take ownership of firmware end-to-end from design to deployment and production support.
• Debug hard, intermittent field problems using logs and telemetry with system-level understanding.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on analog and digital interfaces so the system holds up.

🎯 Requirements

• Solid firmware design for resource-constrained embedded devices.
• Strong C/C++ fundamentals; hardware proximity: interrupts, memory, real-time, concurrency.
• Maths/physics background; comfortable with timing, signals, probability, or control systems.
• Experience with wireless systems LoRa, BLE, cellular, mesh and protocol details.
• Strong ownership; follow problems to root cause.
• Team player who gives and receives feedback well.
