Senior Front End Software Engineer, Retention

📋 Description

• Design, build, and take end-to-end ownership of complex frontend features - from initial scoping
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews, holding yourself and
• Lead technical design discussions for your team's domain, analyze tradeoffs, and document decisions
• Identify and address technical debt, performance issues, and reliability risks proactively - not
• Mentor and support less-experienced engineers through code review feedback, pair programming, and
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to clarify requirements, surface risks

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated experience independently designing and delivering complex frontend features in a
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, and solid experience building user interfaces with
• A good understanding of how frontend systems interact with APIs and backend services, and
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, or end-to-end) and a genuine
• The ability to communicate technical ideas clearly — in design documents, code reviews, and team
• A track record of taking ownership of your work through to completion: surfacing blockers early
