📋 Description

  • Lead design, integration, and qualification of fuel handling systems for advanced reactor projects.
  • Coordinate analyses: thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, heat transfer, and more.
  • Direct mechanical design for thermal/fluid requirements and interfaces with other disciplines.
  • Apply codes and standards: ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA, etc.
  • Provide guidance on nuclear/non-nuclear design practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Support project planning and ensure design schedules align with plant delivery milestones.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years in mechanical systems design, preferably nuclear or regulated industries.
  • Proven experience with complex mechanical systems, especially fuel handling or similar advanced
  • Experience with nuclear reactors, fuel handling processes, or high-performance environments.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design, system integration, and qualification processes.
  • Knowledge of ASME Section III and quality standards (ASME NQA-1, ISO 9001).
