Senior Fuel Handing Systems Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design, integration, and qualification of fuel handling systems
• Coordinate analyses: thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, heat transfer
• Provide mechanical system design direction for thermal/fluid requirements
• Ensure ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA standards are applied
• Develop docs: P&IDs, 3D models, interface drawings
• Support licensing and design reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years of mechanical systems design experience
• Experience with nuclear fuel handling systems or similar
• Experience with nuclear reactors or high-performance environments
• Knowledge of ASME Section III
• Experience with NQA-1 or ISO 9001
