Senior Fuel Handling Systems Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design, integration, and qualification of fuel handling systems in advanced reactor projects.
• Coordinate analyses: thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, heat transfer, etc.
• Direct mechanical system design for thermal/fluid requirements.
• Apply ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA standards in designs.
• Provide guidance on nuclear/non-nuclear design practices.
• Support licensing and design reviews for plant systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior mechanical engineer with extensive complex systems design experience.
• 10+ years in mechanical systems design, especially nuclear fuel handling.
• Experience with nuclear reactors, fuel handling, or high-performance environments.
• Strong understanding of design principles, system integration, and equipment qualification.
• Experience with ASME Section III and quality standards (NQA-1, ISO 9001).
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to lead across teams.
