📋 Description

  • Design nuclear fuel handling systems and subsystems from initial requirements through final design
  • Coordinate and integrate analyses (thermal, seismic, structural, pipe stress, heat transfer) into
  • Provide mechanical system design direction for thermal and fluid requirements.
  • Ensure ASME, ANS, ASTM, IEEE, NFPA and other standards are applied.
  • Provide technical guidance on nuclear and non-nuclear design standards and practices.
  • Analyze and allocate regulatory requirements for complex mechanical and process designs.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of direct experience with mechanical systems design and engineering.
  • Proven experience with complex mechanical systems, nuclear fuel handling systems or similar.
  • Experience in nuclear reactors, fuel handling processes, or high-performance environments.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, system integration, and equipment
  • Experience with high-temperature systems and multidisciplinary integration preferred.
