Kotlin or Java on the JVM, or TypeScript for shared libraries.
HTTP, REST, and gRPC + protobuf.
PostgreSQL; DynamoDB/Redis; caching and queues.
AWS, Docker/Kubernetes; CI/CD; Linkerd/ArgoCD a plus.
