Senior Functional Safety Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead or support safety lifecycle from concept to certification.
• Lead or support development of safety assurance arguments for subsystems and products.
• Contribute to safety concept definition and development of safety-critical systems.
• Collaborate across disciplines to define safety requirements for sensors, controllers, actuators.
• Perform safety analyses like FMEA, FMEDA, FTA.
• Create/maintain safety-case docs (risk assessments, SRS, test plans).

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in safety-critical systems.
• Applied functional safety standards for embedded systems (IEC 61508/62061, ISO 13849/26262).
• Experience with robotics safety standards (ISO 10218, 13482, 3691-4).
• Experience with safety case development and certification for autonomous systems.
• Familiarity with safety standards for sensors/actuators (IEC 61496, 62998, 61800-5-2).
• Strong verbal/written communication; ability to document technical analysis for executives.
