Senior Gameplay Animation Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with gameplay engineers/designers to create new features
• Own animation-driven gameplay mechanics, including locomotion and interactions
• Support tools and animation reviews; translate athlete physics to interactive systems
• Assist engineers in using existing and new animation features
• Keep up to date with industry work and apply new techniques
• Write and maintain robust, performant code

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
• Excellent 3D math and linear algebra skills
• Solid familiarity and experience with C++
• 3+ years of proven experience working with animation or gameplay systems
• IK, procedural animation, keyframe and forward kinematics experience
• Experience developing and shipping AAA games on Unreal Engine 4 and 5
