Senior GCP DevSecOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Build, deploy and manage components of HSBC GCP foundation platform using GCP services (GKE
• Engineer repeatable platform and security capabilities via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or
• Implement and enhance preventive security controls and guardrails to improve cloud security posture
• Integrate and manage IAM, networking, logging/monitoring, OS and container platforms across
• Embed security into delivery pipelines with CI/CD and GitOps tooling (Cloud Build, FluxCD, Helm)

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on GCP experience in production environments
• Strong GCP services expertise (GKE, BigQuery; Cloud Build/Cloud Run desirable)
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, logging/monitoring, and network/workload
• DevOps/SRE fundamentals: reliability, observability, incident response, resilience engineering
• Experience with Terraform and/or Config Connector for IaC and automated deployments
• CI/CD tooling experience (Cloud Build, GitOps, FluxCD, Helm) with security controls
