Senior Group Accountant

📋 Description

• Run the month-end and year-end close to the group close calendar, including journals, accruals
• Prepare monthly management reporting and support the wider reporting pack for internal and external
• Operate and improve the group consolidation across all entities, including intercompany
• Prepare group cash flow reporting and supporting schedules, working with FP&A and Treasury as
• Own technical accounting assessments and prepare accounting papers and memos on judgemental areas
• Develop accounting policies across revenue, inventory, R&D, leases and share-based payments as

🎯 Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified (CIMA considered), ideally audit-firm trained, with 4+ years of relevant
• Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS, with experience preparing statutory accounts
• Hands-on close and consolidation experience, comfortable owning journals, reconciliations
• Experience accounting for inventory in a manufacturing environment, including standard costing
• Prior experience in systems: Hands-on use of spreadsheet and other core financial systems, with ERP
• Experience in a venture-backed startup or scale-up, ideally hardware, robotics or deep tech, is a
