Senior Hardware Test Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and build the in-house test infrastructure for humanoid robots.
• Lead the setup, integration, and operation of validation rigs.
• Design and commission mechanical and electrical test rigs and fixtures.
• Define validation scope with subsystem owners and required fidelity.
• Source parts, manage procurement, and coordinate suppliers.
• Ensure rigs meet reliability and safety/regulatory goals.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in hardware validation/test engineering, robotics preferred.
• Rig design: hands-on creation from concept to commissioning.
• Mechanical CAD: SolidWorks, Fusion, NX; actuators and machining.
• Electrical design: schematics, wiring, power distribution, DAQ.
• Cross-functional: translate validation needs with subsystem owners.
• Procurement: sourcing parts from suppliers including custom fabrication.
