Senior Harness Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop electro-mechanical design of flight wire harnesses for Haven.
• Develop development/test harnesses for qualification testing.
• Design/analyze complex electrical architectures and harness systems; wiring diagrams and connector layouts.
• Evaluate power/data strategies; ensure signal integrity; select protocols (Ethernet, RS-422, USB).
• Develop harness design and routing with 3D NX CAD; provide vehicle/system docs.
• Perform analysis and testing of harnessing for thermal, loads, vibration, and shock.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years in design-focused roles.
• 2+ years wire harness 3D design, wiring diagrams, formboard.
• Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC/WHMA-A-620-S, NASA-STD-8739.4.
• Siemens NX and Teamcenter; harness docs experience.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and work overtime/weekends.
