Senior Health & Safety Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Health & Safety policies aligned with regulations.
• Create and maintain documentation packs, templates, and process maps.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to mitigate hazards.
• Lead training on health and safety practices and safe work methods.
• Track and verify engineer safety documents and qualifications for mobilisation.
• Support HSE with registering freelance engineers and pre-mobilisation vetting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, OH&S, quality management, or related.
• HSE certifications (NEBOSH, ISO 9001/14001/45001) are desirable.
• Extensive HSE coordination/management experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Power (construction bias).
• Proven track record in managing HSE functions and implementing safety, quality, and environmental programs.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Experience with HSE audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
