📋 Description

  • Process tissue sections; accessioning, embedding, microtomy, coverslipping
  • HE staining, special staining, immunohistochemistry (IHC)
  • Prepare specimens for microscopic evaluation
  • Run HE stainer, embedding system, microtome, tissue processor
  • Interact with external pathologists/pathology labs
  • Ensure quality control and safe, compliant operations

🎯 Requirements

  • BA/BS in Biology; 5 years related experience
  • ASCP HT/HTL or HT certification preferred
  • Visual acuity; dexterity; ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Able to stand/walk; read/write English; safety-conscious
