Senior HR Leader

📋 Description

• Partner with Pune managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, coaching
• Localize and run global People programs in India (merit/compensation cycles, performance reviews
• Own India statutory and labor compliance (Shops & Establishments, PF, ESI, gratuity
• Coordinate India recruiting with US-based Director of Talent Acquisition including market
• Own employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding (documentation, background verification
• Advise US leadership on India compensation/benefits norms, employment law changes, cultural

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience in India, including 3+ years leading HR for a site or
• Experience in a global or US-headquartered organization
• Deep knowledge of Indian employment law and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, POSH, Shops
• Based in Pune with regular in-office presence and availability for early-morning/evening US calls
• Employee relations judgment, solo operator, clear communicator in English
• Nice to have: experience scaling HR at a growing India site of a global company, compensation
