📋 Description

• Design and maintain large-scale distributed storage systems for durability.
• Collaborate to evolve core storage architecture for scalability.
• Design replication, erasure coding, and lifecycle management for reliability.
• Write high-quality Go and Rust code.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production storage systems.
• Investigate production issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Partner with Networking/Hardware/Capacity Planning for end-to-end storage.
• Take ownership of scoped projects and lead cross-team initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years in distributed systems concepts: replication, consistency, fault tolerance.
• Production services experience in C++, Go, or Rust.
• Familiarity with distributed storage systems, file systems, or data infra at scale.
• Ability to write efficient, reliable, maintainable code in mission-critical environments.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems and on-call rotations.
• Strong communication and collaboration across infra and product teams.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to multi-year infra evolution.
