Senior Interaction Designer

📋 Description

• Design world-class physical and digital interfaces for medical robotics systems
• Drive product innovation across da Vinci multiport and single port systems
• Collaborate with designers, Human Factors, engineers, product managers, and clinicians
• Contribute to design language evolution to create beautiful, functional interfaces
• Define interaction behavior to communicate system state, intent, and limitations
• Iterate through solutions to narrow the design space with evidence-based decision making

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product design or related field
• Expertise in physical or embedded interaction design (not just web/mobile)
• Proficiency with current design tools
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Interaction Design, HCI, or related field
• Experience designing for 3D, spatial, or AR/VR interactions (preferred)
• Strong systems thinking and ability to communicate design rationale
