Senior Internal Auditor

📋 Description

• Assist in identifying and assessing risk across Mercury and help develop the annual audit plan
• Scope and plan multiple audits across Mercury products and operations
• Conduct process walkthroughs and audit testing to validate internal controls
• Assess Mercury’s compliance obligations
• Socialize, document, and report audit issues
• Collaborate with teams to develop action plans, track remediation, and conduct follow-up testing
• Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Scoping and planning new, complex audits
• Leading audit teams and coaching members
• Walkthroughs, audit test plans, and internal controls testing
• Experience with financial services laws, regulations, and risk standards
• Auditing BSA/AML/Sanctions, payments (Wires/ACH), or cards
• Grasp complex business processes quickly
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive deliverables
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Manage own schedule to meet deadlines
• Self-starter, innovative and efficient
