Senior Inventory Accountant

📋 Description

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory reporting and COGS with GL reconciliation
• Prepare complex GL entries: standard cost, SLOB provisions, PPV analysis
• Reconcile physical inventory, sub-ledgers, and WMS to ERP; resolve discrepancies
• Oversee cycle counting and annual physical inventory with warehouse teams and auditors
• Manage end-to-end costing (standard, FIFO, average); investigate variances to protect margins
• Support month-end/year-end close; resolve cut-off issues before reporting deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• ACCA/ACA or equivalent professional qualification
• End-to-end inventory accounting: SLOB, PPV, standard cost; multi-location reconciliations
• IFRS and IAS 2 knowledge and application in complex reporting
• ERP proficiency: SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite; advanced Excel
• Ability to communicate complex findings to non-finance stakeholders
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight close cycles
