Senior IQC inspector

📋 Description

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts to verify incoming specs.
• Train and mentor new inspectors; perform more complex inspections.
• Senior inspector may stand in for supervisor when not present.
• Attend production and engineering meetings to understand needs.
• Set up fixturing and operate Zeiss CMM; Calypso software desired.
• Operate multiple CMMs and other metrology equipment.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma; A.S. Engineering Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years related experience or training.
• In-depth understanding of inspection techniques and metrology.
• Certification from an authorized Zeiss trainer to operate CMM.
• Proficient in SAP; able to process lot transactions.
• SME in standard inspection tools and GD&T.
