Senior IQC Inspector

📋 Description

• Trains new inspectors and mentors them on how to process lots to release.
• Perform First Article inspections to qualify tooling and new parts
• Senior Inspector has the ability to stand in for the Supervisor when not present.
• Attend production and engineering meetings to understand manufacturing and R&D material needs.
• Ability to prioritize materials that need to be processed for Manufacturing and R&D needs based
• Set-up fixturing and operate Zeiss CMM using Calypso software is desired skill, but not required.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma, A.S. Engineering Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years related experience or training required; or equivalent combination of education and
• Requires an in-depth understanding of inspection techniques and metrology methods.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with Engineers, Purchasing and Suppliers on
• Must have certification from authorized Zeiss Trainer to operate CMM.
• Some Experience managing projects or people is desired but not required.
