Senior IT Product Manager, Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead product strategy for accounting (general ledger, close, intercompany, reconciliations, fixed
• Bring an AI-first approach, introducing agents, evals, and automation into real accounting
• Design how agents are built and tested: break complex accounting work into well-scoped steps
• Apply first-principles thinking, taking a legacy close task, asking why it exists, and building
• Own the vision and roadmap for next-generation accounting capabilities, from journal entry to
• Prototype quickly with AI tools, validating logic, data flows, and control points before

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience building accounting or financial products at a product company, on Oracle, SAP, or
• Hands-on delivery of AI-enabled or agentic workflows in an enterprise. Even if you've taken only
• Deep understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP, ASC 606) and the end-to-end close. We're
• 8+ years across product management, finance systems, or accounting operations in enterprise, or a
• Track record of turning complicated accounting and finance problems into simple, scalable products.
• SOX and audit fluency, and experience leading onsite/offshore delivery teams.
