Senior Java Engineer (Payments)

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot, taking ownership of features
• Lead technical architecture: define service boundaries, data models, integration patterns, and
• Deliver payment technology solutions: develop and maintain payment platforms and integrations with
• Ensure reliability and compliance: take responsibility for application performance, availability
• Build event-driven systems: develop robust asynchronous processing workflows using Apache Kafka
• Collaborate across disciplines: work closely with product managers, solution architects, and DevOps

🎯 Requirements

• At least seven years of professional Java development experience, including responsibility for
• Hands-on experience building or operating payment or financial technology systems, such as card
• Strong knowledge of Java 21 or later, and experience with Spring Boot and modern Spring Framework
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka, asynchronous processing, idempotent operations, and
• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, along with ORM technologies
• Strong experience designing REST APIs, working with OpenAPI specifications, and implementing
