📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate scalable, high-performance Java services for sports data and betting
• Take independent ownership of complex technical initiatives from initial design through to
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture on AWS, bringing experience and judgment to decisions that
• Mentor engineers around you - through code review, pairing, and the kind of feedback that actually
• Drive improvements to code quality, test coverage, engineering practices, and team standards
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical direction - and push back

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java expertise
• Can design and deliver distributed systems in production and understand what it takes to keep them
• Take ownership of complex initiatives independently - from architecture decisions to post-incident
• Mentor others naturally and perform technical reviews that are direct, constructive, and useful
• Deep understanding of testing strategy, CI/CD, and what engineering excellence looks like in
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and know how to land a difficult
