Performs sample prep on tobacco products using smoking machine and wet chemistry
Performs routine analyses with LC, and wet chemistry for product assessment
Documents results in notebooks and LIMS per good documentation practices
Performs instrument calibration and recognizes errors
Ensures compliance with quality systems
Communicates with client staff and co-workers

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team; adaptable and proactive
Learn new techniques; multitask; keep accurate records; follow policies
At least one year of related lab or QC experience
High school diploma or equivalent
