📋 Description

• Lead complex, high-value commercial negotiations and drafting of enterprise contracts, vendor and
• Own commercial escalation frameworks and resolve complex contractual disputes.
• Advise North American leadership on commercial strategy, risk positions, and deal structuring.
• Mentor junior and mid-level commercial counsel to grow in scope and complexity.
• Collaborate with EU and APAC teams to maintain follow-the-sun coverage and smooth handoffs.
• Contribute to templates, playbooks, and Legal Operations initiatives for efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. or equivalent, active U.S. or Canada license.
• 7+ years in-house commercial or SaaS/tech-focused legal work.
• Proven track record leading high-value negotiations with minimal oversight.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, with data privacy and IP familiarity a plus.
• Experience mentoring junior talent and communicating complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, distributed team.
