Senior Legal Counsel, Product & Privacy

📋 Description

• Lead product legal strategy and provide guidance on privacy, data protection, AI, compliance
• Own GDPR and other relevant data compliance assessments, including interpreting US and European
• Develop scalable privacy support systems, including intake processes, playbooks, templates
• Build an efficient process for responding to customer security questionnaires and collaborate with
• Advise on product development and feature launches throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring legal
• Support commercial negotiations and become the primary legal resource for contracts and related

🎯 Requirements

• Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited US law school.
• Be an active member in good standing of a State Bar Association.
• Have experience as in-house counsel at a technology company or advising technology businesses
• Demonstrate deep expertise in product legal matters, data privacy, and compliance.
• Have strong knowledge of US and European data privacy frameworks, including GDPR and CCPA, and
• Be able to translate legal and regulatory requirements into scalable processes, templates

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary: $227,000–$252,000, depending on level and experience.
• Equity: Company equity, with $50,000 in equity indicated in the compensation listing.
