Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Content Understanding

📋 Description

• Operate full ML lifecycle: framing, data, modeling, deployment, monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MLEs and SWEs.
• Develop evaluation and quality monitoring for content signals using LM-judge.
• Define SLOs, alerts, and dashboards for ACU ML systems.
• Evolve content understanding for ads, shopping signals, and formats.
• Lead LLM and ML practices: prompting, finetuning, and distillation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of MLE experience delivering production ML systems at scale.
• Senior-level leadership: architecture decisions, standards, design reviews.
• Strong communication; explain trade-offs to PMs, DSs, and eng teams.
• Experience shipping NLP/LM models to production with business impact.
• Experience with commercial or intent modeling is a plus.
