📋 Description

• Lead evolution of Pathfinder’s recommender system to be more personalized.
• Build, deploy, and operate real-time models for the recommender.
• Design experiments and evaluation methods for model quality.
• Partner with software engineers and data analysts to productionize models.
• Translate ambiguous needs into testable hypotheses with cross-team collaboration.
• Ship measurable improvements iteratively in production.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building and deploying recommender systems.
• Strong skills in experimentation, evaluation, and measurement.
• Proficiency with real-time data systems and model serving.
• Expertise with Go and/or TypeScript; HTTP and gRPC; distributed systems.
• Ability to work with engineers and product analytics; strong communication.
• Applied ML experience in product or operational settings.
