Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Large Systems)

📋 Description

• Develop and optimise AI models for Graphcore’s specialised hardware on large scale systems.
• Collaborate with Software, Research and Product teams to define and test next-gen AI hardware.
• Benchmark models, identify bottlenecks, and improve efficiency across 1000s of accelerators.
• Design, run experiments on novel AI methods and report results.
• Engage with the AI community and stay updated on the latest developments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor/Master/PhD or equivalent in ML, CS, Maths or related field.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or JAX.
• Strong Python or C++ software development skills.
• Expertise in end-to-end DL workflows from training to optimisation and evaluation.
• Ability to design, execute and report ML experiments; understand performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and clear communication of complex concepts.
