Senior Manager – Data Engineering & Machine Learning

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of Data Engineers and ML specialists.
• Build dependable data foundations: improve pipelines, integrations, and infrastructure.
• Strengthen production ML: improve deployment, monitoring, and operational follow-through.
• Advance marketplace models: improve recommendation, cancellation, and bidder-risk use cases.
• Set direction and priorities with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and business partners.
• Shape the technology strategy as part of the Engineering Management team.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience in Data Engineering or Machine Learning Engineering.
• Experience leading experienced engineers or ML specialists.
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs and guide architecture for data platforms.
• Experience with deployment, monitoring, and operation of ML systems.
• Cloud platform experience: GCP (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Kubernetes) or equivalent AWS.
• Streaming and integration experience with Kafka or event-driven systems.
