Senior Manager, Engineering

📋 Description

• Own day-to-day execution of your engineering pod: sprint planning, delivery, team health
• Partner with product managers to align quarterly goals, blockers, and direction
• Lead architectural decisions and improve code quality across pods
• Plan for a second pod within 3–6 months as you scale leadership
• Manage 8–12 engineers with 1:1s, reviews, and coaching
• Translate AI strategies into team-level execution and SDLC standards

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering, full-stack web development
• 4+ years managing engineering teams, multiple pods
• Track record shipping software in an Agile SDLC
• Strong product partnership with business curiosity and customer insights
• Full-range people management: hiring, coaching, promotion decisions
• Technical grounding to critique code and architecture; AI perspective
