Senior Manager, Financial Reporting

📋 Description

• Build and run the monthly, quarterly, and annual close; deliver accurate financial statements and
• Design and implement internal-control, risk-management, and policy frameworks to achieve NI 52-109
• Lead external audits and statutory reporting; manage relationships with auditors and regulators.
• Drive ERP/finance-stack evolution in partnership with Financial Systems leadership.
• Build, mentor, and scale an accounting/reporting team; set clear performance standards and foster a
• Build and leverage automations and AI to improve efficiency, reduce cost and risk.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA designation with 5–8 years of progressive accounting leadership experience
• Big 4 experience required; subsequent industry experience is considered an asset but is not
• Command of IFRS plus advanced knowledge of revenue recognition, manufacturing, leasing
• Proven experience establishing and strengthening internal control frameworks and implementing
• Experience building and leading teams, with a relentless attention to detail, ownership mentality
• Deep manufacturing or complex supply-chain experience: cost accounting, inventory valuation
