Senior Manager, Financial Risk Management

📋 Description

• Lead risk and controls across multiple finance domains with scalable foundations.
• Assess risks across payments, equity, procurement, investments, and related systems.
• Identify weakest controls and prioritize remediation, governance, or monitoring.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to design controls integrated into workflows.
• Translate risks into operational requirements, ownership, approvals, monitoring.
• Drive cross-functional remediation for unclear, manual, or fragmented processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in financial risk management, internal controls, or SOX/ICFR.
• Experience in payments, procurement, investments, M&A, HR processes, or close.
• Strong judgment on control levels for fast-scaling companies; guardrails vs automation.
• Experience with evolving systems, unclear ownership, or fragmented data.
• Ability to partner with finance, legal, procurement, and tech teams.
• Translate risks into actionable controls, narratives, KRIs, dashboards.
