Senior Manager, Fluid Systems Design

📋 Description

• Lead design team translating propulsion, TCS and ECLSS architecture into vehicle packaging.
• Own component-level design practices for propulsion, TCS and ECLSS.
• Develop process tools to streamline design activities, enabling engineers to be force multipliers.
• Lead designers across the fluid systems team, flexing resources as needed.
• Interface with structures team on vehicle integration and standard design practices.
• Collaborate with fluid system analysis on structural/fracture/dynamics requirements for validation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or other technical discipline.
• 2+ years hands-on engineering and 2-5 years in aerospace systems engineering or PM roles.
• 8+ years in system design with component-level authority on flight hardware (propulsion/thermal/ECLSS).
• 2+ years leading/managing a technical engineering team.
• Expertise in fluid system design: pressure vessels, tubing routings, seals, valves, and ducting.
• Experience with high-pressure fluid systems including fracture criticality.
