Senior Manager, Hedge Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead hedge accounting practice for managed services clients.
• Serve as SME for ASC 815 and IFRS 9 with guidance to clients and auditors.
• Own hedge documentation, effectiveness testing, disclosures, and audit support.
• Develop the Derivative Accounting team and broader capability.
• Build scalable workflows, templates, and close checklists.
• Translate FASB/IASB updates into actionable client/internal summaries.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA required; advanced degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
• 10+ years' accounting exp in derivatives and hedge accounting (ASC 815 & IFRS 9).
• Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Deep technical fluency in ASC 815 & IFRS 9; hedge elections and disclosures.
• Strong understanding of derivatives: swaps, forwards, options.
• Experience with hedge accounting platforms (Ripple Treasury, Reval, FIS Quantum) preferred.
