Senior Manager, R&D Strategic Resourcing

📋 Description

• Execute global resource strategies and budgeting activities to achieve functional goals
• Forecast and manage resources and associated budget; handle short and long-term forecasts
• Provide leadership and strategic recommendations to ensure functions operate within budget
• Partner with functional leaders to resource and financially plan upcoming initiatives
• Provide portfolio timeline and cost estimates; negotiate portfolio outcomes across functions
• Develop departmental goals with VPs and make strategic business decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors or equivalent degree required; Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MBA) highly preferred
• Minimum 4+ years with Bachelors, 3+ with Masters, 2+ with PhD in competitive fast-paced environment
• Experience managing large projects in complex matrixed organizations as consultant or internal lead
• Ability to present data and metrics to executive leadership for better business outcomes
• Facilitative leadership skills in cross-functional global team; proven matrix performance
• Excellent interpersonal skills; interact internally/externally to support strategy
