Senior Manager, Risk Operations

📋 Description

• Serve as primary ops contact for our TPA (Sedgwick) on claims
• Monitor loss runs, trends, and open claims; surface insights
• Review large losses and litigated claims; align strategy with objectives
• Track SLA compliance and claims quality metrics; hold TPA accountable
• Identify patterns in claims data to drive risk reduction
• Develop risk mitigations such as safety programs and return-to-work protocols

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8+ years in workers' compensation operations or risk mgmt
• 4+ years of people management in fast-growth environments
• Solid knowledge of WC claim lifecycles, reserving, and TPA performance
• Strong understanding of WC policy structures, classification and payroll premium
• Risk management oriented; connect underwriting decisions to outcomes
• Experience using claims and policy data to identify trends and improvements
