Senior Manager, Software Engineering

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product and other Engineering leaders to set priorities, manage work in progress
• Actively participate in architectural discussions and technical design reviews, bringing hands-on
• Coach team members on problem analysis, estimating, software design, development, and testing
• Drive and develop the team's Agile development processes with a focus on quality and lean
• Champion AI-assisted development practices within your teams, including the use of tools like
• Champion and support department-level objectives and process improvements across our Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working within a team-based event-driven distributed microservices
• 5+ years of experience managing a software team and providing technical direction to team members.
• Experience leading engineering teams through de-monolithing and transitioning to distributed system
• Working knowledge of PHP and other object-oriented languages (e.g., C#, Java) is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated technical depth: able to engage meaningfully in architectural conversations
• Experience leading groups of software and quality engineering team members using Agile or Lean
