Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering – National Security (Defense)

📋 Description

• Lead the team: hire, onboard, coach, and retain; set technical quality bar; own capacity across
• Drive technical wins: own technical strategy for pursuits, serve as senior technical escalation
• Own the defense problem set: shape requirements upstream, build muscle for exercises and
• Represent the customer inside Skydio: be aggregated voice to Product and Engineering, build

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant technical experience, including customer-facing role supporting defense
• 5+ years of federal government or defense experience relevant to UAS.
• 1+ years leading a technical team.
• Demonstrated understanding of defense acquisition process for technology.
• Technical depth in at least one core area: UAS platforms, RF/datalink systems, EO/IR sensors
• Comfort operating inside a Sales organization.
