Senior Manager, Structuring (Tax/Preferred Equity)

📋 Description

• Build, maintain, and audit complex financial models for tax/hybrid and preferred equity
• Lead the screening and underwriting of new opportunities, including initial reviews and pre-pricing
• Lead the preparation of investment materials for Investment Committee, including transaction
• Collaborate with senior members of the Structuring team on transaction structuring, execution, and
• Analyze sponsor financials, project contracts, and diligence materials to identify risks and value
• Coordinate diligence across commercial, technical, legal, tax, and insurance workstreams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or MS a plus.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in renewable energy, structured finance, infrastructure investing
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build complex partnership models from scratch; VBA
• Strong understanding of tax equity and preferred equity structures (partnership flip, hybrid
• Experience leading transaction workstreams, preparing transaction materials, and coordinating due
• Familiarity with IRS requirements, safe harbor tests, and recapture provisions preferred.
