Senior Manager, Technical Accounting - M&A and Investments

📋 Description

• Execute technical accounting for M&A, asset acquisitions, joint ventures, and related financing.
• Lead deal-structure discussions with Corporate Development and leadership.
• Conduct accounting due diligence on prospective transactions (GAAP, control, earnings implications).
• Oversee end-to-end purchase accounting and post-close integration accounting.
• Monitor consolidation and investment classifications, including VIE and equity method.
• Manage external valuation specialists; defend PPA and impairment analyses.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years progressive accounting experience, incl 4+ years owning complex M&A/investments end-to-end
• Active CPA license
• Big 4 background plus in-house experience at high-growth or public tech company
• Led multiple closed acquisitions and strategic investments with meaningful scale
• Deep command of US GAAP for business combinations, consolidation, equity method, and fair value
• Proficient with accounting systems (Workday preferred), consolidation tools, and advanced Excel/modeling
