Senior Manager, Workers' Compensation Claims

📋 Description

• Supervise and support a small claims team with daily direction and coaching.
• Manage your own active caseload of complex, litigated WC claims end-to-end.
• Escalate difficult claims and coordinate with TPAs, carriers, and defense counsel.
• Review coverage decisions, reserves, and settlements per guidelines.
• Conduct regular file audits and quality reviews to improve performance.
• Onboard and train new claims staff on PEO workflows and state compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in a TPA or PEO claims environment.
• Mentoring or leading peers or junior claims staff.
• Working knowledge of WC regulations across multiple states.
• Strong reserving skills and understanding of indemnity, medical and expense components.
• Proficiency with claims management systems and RMIS platforms.
• Experience supporting Return to Work programs and managed care coordination.
