Senior Manufacturing Engineer

📋 Description

• Review engineering release packages, including CAD models, technical drawings, parts lists, and
• Develop accurate and competitive quotes by combining engineering analysis with platform
• Create cost calculators using manufacturing expertise and an understanding of process cost drivers
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) recommendations, helping
• Share technical feedback with the quoting software team to improve automated quoting accuracy
• Generate high-quality 2D engineering drawings in accordance with ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards.

🎯 Requirements

• A four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical training.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, costing, DFM, or custom mechanical
• Hands-on experience with multiple custom manufacturing processes, such as sheet metal fabrication
• Demonstrated experience with both CNC machining and 3D printing.
• Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), conventional coordinate
• Experience mentoring or coaching engineers and serving as a trusted technical resource; experience
