Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Primary Structures

📋 Description

• Provide DFM feedback to structures teams during development and builds.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, reliability, and external vendors.
• Cover shop floor for primary structure work centers to keep production moving.
• Champion process improvements across work centers for better assembly.
• Create work instructions and specs across high-fidelity processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in manufacturing, aeronautical, mechanical engineering, or related field
• 5+ years progressive experience in related roles
• Strong history in complex assembly; capable of risk decisions during builds
• Excellent interpersonal skills with engineering and manufacturing groups
• Strong fundamentals: statics, MOI, factory design, fastening, machining
• Expert with drilling, trim, and aerospace inspection methods and GD&T
