Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Remote)

📋 Description

• Review models, drawings, parts lists, and other data to determine scope of work, manufacturing
• Generate quotes for builders or collaborate with external suppliers to determine the parameters
• Build cost calculators that bring quoting in-house for new service offerings
• Provide design-for-manufacturability and design-for-assembly feedback to builders
• Feed insights back to the quoting software team to improve the accuracy of automated quoting
• Produce high-quality 2D drawings per ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical training
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, costing/DFM, or related custom
• Hands-on experience across multiple custom mechanical manufacturing processes (sheet metal
• Strong understanding of GD&T and conventional (coordinate) tolerancing, and deep knowledge of
• Experience mentoring or coaching other engineers and acting as a technical resource; collaborating
• Proven ability to lead through influence and coordinate cross-functional or dotted-line teams
