Senior Manufacturing Equipment Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
• Own equipment projects from concept to startup; meet safety and throughput goals.
• Collaborate with vendors to define specs, review designs, support FAT/SAT.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during integration, startup, ramp.
• Partner with Process Eng, Ops, Maintenance, and Quality to optimize equipment and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement for reliability, uptime, throughput, safety.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-8+ years in manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, automation.
• Experience designing, developing, commissioning, or improving manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical fundamentals: machine design, tooling, material handling.
• Experience with vendors through design, build, FAT/SAT, installation, startup.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and manufacturing problems via root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration across engineering, operations, maintenance, and external partners.
