Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Own root-cause analysis of complex electro-mechanical and optical systems using MES tools.
• Serve as key technical resource on the production floor; unblock issues and drive actions.
• Partner with Design, Systems, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive improvements.
• Develop dashboards to track KPIs and communicate manufacturing performance.
• Lead Product Validation Testing for new products with robust bring-up and tests.
• Translate findings into updated work instructions and process documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S./M.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering; hardware and software preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing; ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical, optical, or integrated systems.
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting; experience with Splunk or Quickbase a plus.
• Structured root-cause analysis experience (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, or similar).
• Experience building KPI dashboards and applying statistics to identify trends.
